Meet Juwann Winfree

Juwann Winfree is a professional wide receiver currently playing for the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL. Born on September 4, 1996, in Englewood, New Jersey, he developed his passion for football early, becoming a standout player at the Academies at Dwight Morrow High School.

 

Winfree’s college football career began at the University of Maryland before transferring to Coffeyville Community College and later the University of Colorado.

 

At Colorado, he showcased his talent despite battling injuries, recording 49 receptions for 649 yards and four touchdowns across two seasons, which led to him being selected by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

 

Winfree's NFL journey has seen him overcome challenges and refine his skills as a receiver and special teams contributor. After being drafted by the Broncos, he later joined the Green Bay Packers, where he demonstrated his potential as a reliable target.

 

In 2023, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts, bringing his size, athletic ability, and determination to their receiving corps.
